At ClinicFit, we have two types of workouts: Strength and Metabolic. Metabolic indicates a cardiovascular workout; however, our form of “cardio” is different than what you see at most gyms. In our metabolic classes we effectively apply our own form of HIIT (high intensity interval training), which involves repeated bouts of high intensity work followed by lower intensity recovery times. We do so by using all kinds of equipment such as kettlebells, battle ropes, medicine balls, TRX, and specialized treadmills. These programs are scientifically designed to increase your metabolism and the amount of fat you burn in 30 minutes or less.
Now you might be thinking, if short high intensity bursts of training burn fat, why doesn’t everyone do it? Well, because it is hard. Interval training and realizing your intensity is a process that takes time and commitment. Fortunately, you have a great group of coaches that are here to help!
